Hadland wrote a new arrangement of Frampton's song I'm in You, and Very Emergency did a quick, rough recording of it. Hadland sent it to Kimsey, who was impressed enough to send it on to Frampton. Lisa Jenkins with Vector Management, Frampton's personal manager, reported back that Frampton loved it and wanted Very Emergency to record the song in Frampton's Ohio studio. In the resulting session, Frampton not only joined the band and played and sang on the recording, but he invited the band to be the opening act for four dates on Frampton's summer tour.
